There is something hypnotic about storytelling: I love to find a story, look for the angle or meaning and then sit down and challenge myself to make it flow into an article or piece of content.
Everyone has one…. a story.
Maybe it’s not one that will be published but the beauty of engaging people is in finding out what their particular story is.
My publishing story started in magazines (food and health) and has now moved into digital. I’ve written editorial, advertorial, marketing… some of it has been those little bite-size snippets (harder than they look) to longer in-depth articles.
Lately, I’ve been working on a user-generated content platform, hanging out, reading and seeking members’ stories and then using that to create content. It’s interactive and dynamic. It’s new and exciting to engage with an active audience to create content in real-time.
